The tribunal members were sworn in at a ceremony at the Supreme Court buildings in Nairobi.

Led by retired Justice Jonathan Bowen Havelock, the tribunal will commence investigations on Monday.

Bowen noted that the anti-graft agency is still operating and the tribunal will, therefore, have to speed up its investigations.

Other members of the tribunal are Margaret Shava, Muathe Issa and Juster Nkoroi.

President Uhuru Kenyatta suspended Matemu and Keino after the National Assembly resolved that a petition to Parliament seeking their removal from office had sufficient grounds.

Meanwhile, new members of the Judicial Service Commission have been sworn in.

Winnie Guchu and Kipng’etich Arap Korir have replaced Margaret Mango and Samuel Kobia.
