Plane carrying Citizen TV crew crash lands in Langata
A light aircraft carrying Citizen TV crew on Wednesday, July 12 crash-landed at Nairobi’s Southern Bypass area.
The CESNA 206 plane carrying Citizen TV reporter Sam Ogina, Cameraman Mauritius Oduor and Radio Citizen Joseph Njane was heading to a National Super Alliance (NASA) rally in Baringo before crash landing near National Housing Corporation Houses in Langata.
The aircraft registration 5Y-PEB left Wilson at a recorded 1347 hours and crash landed at 1352 hours.
The cause of the accident is yet to be determined.
All on-board are safe and have been taken to hospital for check up.
