Plane crashes after hitting wildebeests in Maasai Mara
An aircraft belonging to Safarilink on Friday crash landed at Kichwa Tembo airstrip in Maasai Mara after it hit wildebeests.
According to the Safarilink management, the accident occured after a couple of Wildebeests ran across the runway as the aircraft was landing.
“The aircraft is disabled and we have dispatched other aircraft to take engineers, and company staff to the site to further assess the situation,” read the statement.
All passengers and crew on board the aircraft made it out safely.
