PNU faction dissolves to join Jubilee Party

A faction of the Party of National Unity (PNU) led by Chairman John Kamama has dissolved the party in readiness for the Jubilee Party merger.

The faction concluded it’s National Delegates Conference (NDC) at the Kasarani Gymnasium where the delegates adopted a resolution to dissolve party but on condition that PNU is assured of senior posts in the new Jubilee Party.

The delegates have also demanded that it be informed on the fate of the party’s properties across the country.

A PNU rival group opposed to the merger with Jubilee Party led by Secretary General, John Anunda, had already set it’s National Delegates Conference for October 28.

PNU is among the eleven parties listed as having resolved to dissolve and join the Jubilee Party.

Meru Governor Peter Munya had already declared that he will seek re-election through PNU in 2017.
