Police hunt for man accused of stabbing pregnant wife to death

Police in Migori County have launched a manhunt for a man who is accused of stabbing his six-months-pregnant wife in Biasumu village.

According to neighbours, 35-year-old Pintu Boroi allegedly committed the heinous act following a disagreement over the paternity of the unborn child.

Kuria East OCPD Mr.Ahamed Abdikadir told Citizen Digital that the accused who took off after the incident used a spear to stab the deceased.

Abdikadir further added that the victim succumbed to excess haemorrhage.

The body has since been moved to Migori Level-four Hospital Mortuary.
