Police in lawyer murder case to appear in court

Three police officers suspected of murdering city lawyer Willie Kimani, his client Josphat Mwenda and their taxi driver Joseph Muiruri are set to be arraigned at the Milimani Law Courts Monday.

The officers; Senior Sergeant Fredrick Leliman, Corporal Stephen Chebulet and Constable Sylvia Wanjiku attached at Syokimau, are currently in police custody.

The deceased were murdered after a court appearance at the Mavoko Law Courts in Machakos on June 23rd, 2016 for the mention of a case where the late Mwenda claimed a senior administration police officer, now linked to the murders, had shot him without provocation.
