Police intercept explosive chemicals in Migori

Migori police on Thursday, September 15 intercepted explosive chemicals that were being ferried to Kisumu at Isebania.

According to MigoriCounty Police Commander, David Kirui, two people were arrested with connection to the explosive chemicals that were packed in polythene papers inside a PSV vehicle.

Kirui said they are yet to establish what the explosive chemicals were going to be used for saying that the police are still interrogating the two people linked to them.

He said a laboratory examination will conducted by experts to established the contents of the chemical.

The explosives, according to the county commander, are dangerous and could cause massive damage.
