Police investigating mysterious death of colleague

Police are investigating an incident in which a police officer was found dead in a trench in Land Mawe area, Nairobi.

The body of Corporal Wesley Mutai was found in a trench with a bullet wound in the head.

It’s not clear if he committed suicide or he was killed.

The body of the police officer has been removed to City Mortuary as investigations continue.

Police say his pistol was found next to his body and had four bullets less the number he had been issued.
