Police kill robbery suspect, recover stolen goods in Kileleshwa

Police shot dead one suspected gangster and arrested two others early Thursday morning after a failed robbery attempt in Kileleshwa, Nairobi County Police Commander, Japheth Koome, has revealed.

Mr Koome said a gang of five raided an electronics shop in Kileleshwa in the 2am incident where they tied the watchman before making way with computers.

However, police on patrol intercepted the gangsters as they fled, killing one on the spot.

“We arrested two suspects and recovered the stolen goods. The other two suspects escaped,” said the police boss.

The body of the killed suspect has been taken to City Mortuary.
