Police place Ksh 14 million bounty for seven terror suspects

Police have placed a bounty of Ksh 2 million for each of the seven terror suspects linked to recent attacks in North Eastern Kenya.

The seven terror suspects are believed to be behind three terror attacks in Mandera County that left several people dead.

In a statement, Police Spokesman, George Kinoti, said the terror suspects who are operating between Kenya and Somalia borders are believed to have carried out attacks in Mandera at Bisharo Lodge in October 2016 and at Jabane Hotel in January.

Kinoti added that the group is also believed to be behind the Arabia Police Camp attack in Mandera early this month where three Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Biometric Voter Registration (BVR) kits were stolen.

Police have now urged members of the public to inform police with information that will lead to the arrest of the terror suspects.
