Police probing why Modern Coast bus burst into flames

Police in Samburu, Kwale County are investigating an incident where a Modern Coast bus burst into flames.

The bus with the number plate KBZ 820N was reportedly on its way to Mtito Andei when the incident occurred at around midnight.

Kwale County Commissioner Karuku Ngumo said the bus was on its way from Mombasa.

“No one was injured as it would appear that the bus had no passengers at the time,” he said.

The cause of the fire is yet to be established.
