Police rescue 14 victims of human trafficking in Gikomba
Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on Thursday rescued 14 underage girls suspected to be victims of human trafficking.
According to the DCI, the girls of Ugandan origin were found at Gikomba area in Nairobi and were allegedly being trafficked for child labour.
The girls are presently being held “in a safe place” as investigations continue.
