Police Shoot Dead Three Suspected Thugs in Eldoret

The three are suspected to have stolen a Toyota Probox outside an Mpesa shop before fleeing in it.

The owner of the car reported the matter to the police who pursued the suspects.

Confirming the incident, Eldoret West Deputy OCPD Tom Omondi said that police were able to track down the suspects using a tracker in the car.

Omondi said that the suspects were shot dead after one of them defied orders to surrender and instead fired shots at police officers.

The suspects’ bodies have been taken to Eldoret General Hospital.
