Police Station Turned Into A Morgue

This was after the hospital barred the latter from placing bodies that they have collected from various crime scenes.

For the last 24 hours police in Kiritiri have converted one of their unused rooms to place two bodies that police collected from various scenes within Mbeere Sub County.

Area OCPD Bernstein Shari says that police have been forced to use one of the rooms as they negotiate with the hospital.

The hospital management has cited that the mortuary fridge that is used to store bodies that are damaged or those that have been left for a long period before they are collected is full.

They added that they will not accept bodies being brought in by the police until they clear the bodies still lying in the morgue.

The two bodies belong to one 70 years old man who was lynched after he was suspected to be a witchdoctor, while the other is a 25 years old man who was killed by his younger brother.  

The hospital is demanding an affidavit from the police in order to be able to bury the unclaimed bodies.
