Police Vetting In Mombasa Enters Day 2


26 Superintendents and senior Superintendents are expected to be vetted by 2 panels chaired by Johnstone Kavuludi and Commissioner Murshid Mohamed.

First to appear in today’s session is superintendent Simon Ole Ntutu.

Ntutu says he has radically reduced graft at Mariakani Weighbridge.

Ntutu says 6 police officers based at Mariakani Weighbridge have been interdicted due to heightened efforts to crack down on cartels and fightcorrution.

Among top cops vetted on Friday were Mombasa Deputy Police Commander Sevelino Kubai, Senior Superintendent Richard Mwangi and Superintendent Grace Chepn'geno.
