Police water supply disconnected over unpaid Ksh.3M bill

Administration police in Kakamega County will now have go without water after their supply was cut off following huge debts.

According to the Kakamega County Water and Sanitation Company, the police have not made any payments since May 2012.

The firm’s Managing Director Fred Atwa said they can no longer offer them their services because the bill has accrued penalties and is now over Ksh.3million.

“We are urging those concerned to pay this money because the company also has obligations to meet,” Mr. Atwa told Citizen Digital.

He maintained that the company had issued notice prior to the disconnection.

The MD said water supply services will not resume until the bill is settled.
