Political Factor In Kenyattas Appointments

President Uhuru Kenyatta has appointed one of his competitors in the last presidential polls Abduba Dida to chair the Constituencies Development Fund in the latest appointment of ten more chairpersons of state corporations. Critics say the President has once again rewarded political loyalty at the expense of merit and gender balance. The National Gender and Equality Commission has faulted the appointments saying the youth, women and persons with disabilities have been ignored.
