Politicians Did Not Incite Nadome Massacre, West Pokot Senator

Lonyangapuo – who was appearing before the CID headquarters in Nairobi – said that no politician can incite the mass killing of innocent Kenyans.

The West Pokot Senator said that claims of politicians being the architects of cattle rustling and massive killings in Northern Kenya were unfounded.

The Senator was among leaders from the Northern Kenya region who had been summoned by the CID.

Other leaders summoned include Kapenguria MP Samuel Moroto, his counterparty Asman Kamama of Tiaty Alois Lentoimanga of Samburu North.

Lonyangapuo – who had requested to appear before the CID today, Tuesday – said that he was summoned on Thursday last week.

The other leaders failed to appear before the CID despite reports that they had received summon letters.
