Politicians Linked to Insecurity will be Arrested, Nkaissery Warns

Speaking during a Sunday service at ACK Kajiado, Nkaissery said that the attacks in the region have to stop, adding that the government will take appropriate actions against anyone involved.

He has also asked North Rift politicians to urge residents in their area to surrender illegal firearms in a bid to foster peace.

EXTENDED AMNESTY

Concerning the extended amnesty of Al Shabaab to surrender, the Interior CS noted that many youths have surrendered, though he cannot reveal the number for security reasons.

Nkaissery thanked parents who gave information about their children who were suspected to have joined Al Shaabab, adding that Kenyans should be vigilant in the fight against terror.

He encouraged Kenyans to work with the police to end terrorism, saying that they should volunteer any information that can help arrest suspected militants.

Nkaissery was accompanied by Kajiado County Commissioner Harsama Kello.
