Former Nairobi deputy governor Polycarp Igathe has landed a new job at Equity Bank.
Igathe, who quit his political gig on January 12 after just five months is the bank’s new Chief Commercial Officer.
It is not known when he started at his new job as the giant financial institution is yet to confirm his appointment as such senior role has to be first approved by the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK).
Igathe’s business card however leaked and quickly went viral first via WhatsApp sending the bank’s management scrambling to figure out how to manage the situation.
A source close to the former Managing Director of Vivo Energy told Citizen Digital he was scheduled to be formally announced before end of the month.
