Preach peace ahead off polls, religious leaders told

Jesus Healing Ministries’ Prophet Dr Wilfred Lai has urged Kenyan religious institutions to pray and preach peace ahead of the 2017 General Election.

Speaking as he anointed an alter against witchcraft in Suguta Marmar trading centre, Samburu County, Dr. Lai urged Kenyans to put aside tribal and political differences.

Lai said religious institutions have a role in battling hatred, division and inter-community tensions that arise from political campaigns.

He called upon all religious institutions to pray for the country and to preach love.
