President Hollande Hails Reborn Charlie Hebdo

He spoke after the satirical weekly that was attacked by terrorists last week sold out in hours after its first edition since attack

"Charlie Hebdo is alive and will live on," Hollande said.

Millions more copies of the magazine are being printed because of demand.

The first edition came out a week after gunmen stormed its offices and murdered 12 people

Five others were killed in subsequent attacks

The new edition has angered some Muslims after it depicted Prophet Muhammad in bad light.

"I am Charlie" emerged as a message of support for both the magazine and free speech following the 7th January attacks

"You can murder men and women but you can never kill their ideas," President Hollande said following the publication of the latest edition.

He said the magazine had been reborn in the week after the killings.
