President Kenyatta Arrives In Qatar For State Visit

The President, who arrived in Doha on Monday evening, is set to hold a series of meetings with the Emir of Qatar, and government officials, to discuss ways to boost the country’s energy sector.

The President will today, Tuesday, meet Qatari energy minister, the defence minister, Qatari business community and representatives of Kenyans living in Qatar.

His visit there will also see him meet the Emir of Qatar on Wednesday, and then the transport minister.

The Kenyan delegation includes cabinet secretaries for foreign affairs, energy, transport, mining, national treasury and industrialization.
