President Kenyatta Condemns Terrorism

The president was speaking during an iftar dinner where he hosted Muslim envoys from Africa, Asia and Middle-East at State-House Nairobi on Thursday.

 

President Kenyatta further stressed the need for unity among Kenyans as well as the international community saying that this would help fight these vices among other global crimes.

 

President Kenyatta also welcomed the formation of a joint team of Muslim envoys and his government aimed at working out modalities of working together on the challenges facing the country and the region.

 

The President pointed out that Kenya has since independence tolerated all cultures and religions and will continue fostering unity while celebrating its diversity.

 

Also in attendance was Mining Cabinet Secretary Najib Balala.
