President Kenyatta In Qatar

The president will meet his highness the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, and senior government officials.

They will discuss various avenues of cooperation between Kenya and Qatar. 

President Kenyatta will also hold talks with Qatar energy minister, Mohamed Saleh al Sada, and the Qatar transport minister Jassim Seif al-Sulaiti, to exchange ideas on how the two countries can work together, to improve their transport sectors.

The president will tour the current port and the new port in Doha which is under construction.

President Kenyatta’s delegation includes cabinet secretaries Ambassador Amina Mohamed of foreign affairs, Davis Chirchir of energy, Engineer Michael Kamau of transport, Henry Rotich of the National Treasury, and Adan Mohamed of the ministry of industrialization.
