President Kenyatta makes grannys day
President Uhuru Kenyatta appears to be the most social and accessible president this country has ever had.
Since he was elected president, his cheerful personality and outgoing tendency seem to have followed him to the State House and with them he has apparently flung the doors of the house on the hill wide open.
Gone are the days when going to State House was nearly impossible, it seems having a gift of the gab or a talent in something will earn you a visit there.
Shaking the presidents hand has also become commonplace.
Take for instance the granny who got a handshake, and hug, from the big man himself. What a Sunday for her!
The president has also taken numerous selfies with pupils from various schools that he hosted at State House Nairobi on various occasions.
He famously took a photo with a girl who was so overwhelmed after seeing him that she couldn’t hold her tears.
His critics, however, claim this is a publicity stunt, part of his PR strategy.
That, however, remains to be see but one thing is for sure, it has earned him many admirers.
