President Kenyatta Meets IEBC Bosses

This is according to IEBC Chair Issack Hassan, who spoke during a meeting between commission officials and President Uhuru Kenyatta at his harambee house office.

Hassan also briefed the President on progress of electoral reforms, among them use of technology and legal framework for handling polls, law on diaspora voting among others.

President Kenyatta encouraged IEBC to work with all stakeholders to implement reforms to foster democracy.

The electoral body is currently housed at Anniversary Towers, which the IEBC chair says is congested and exposed to security challenges.
