President Kenyatta Pledges To Revamp Country’s Security Structures

President Uhuru Kenyatta has pledged to revamp the country’s security sector following the recent spate of deadly terror and bandit attacks and hinted at a possible shakeup of the nation’s security command chain. Speaking for the first time on the Mandera bus Al Shabab terror attack since jetting back from Abu Dhabi, the president talked tough after twice meeting the country’s top security chiefs in Nairobi and asked them to ensure there was no laxity in keeping Kenyans safe.
