President Kenyatta Receives Report Proposing Secondary School Fees Reduction

The cost of secondary school education could come down by more than fifty per cent from next year should the government adopt a report on fees standardization handed to president Uhuru Kenyatta today. The report by the task force on secondary school fees recommends that the annual fees charged by boarding schools must not exceed 42,000 shillings, as Esther Kahumbi now reports.
