President Kenyatta Summons Top Security Officials

One other person was killed and 13 others in a separate attack in Wajir town.

The attacks are said to have been carried out by suspected Al Shabaab militia.

Inspector General of Police David Kimayo, Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Ole Lenku, defence forces boss Julius Karangi and National Intelligence Service Director General Philip Kameru have all been summoned to State House.

The President is later expected to the nation after the meeting.
