President Uhuru assents to three Bills

President Uhuru Kenyatta Thursday signed into law three Bills recently passed by Parliament.

These include; the County Governments Amendment Bill 2016, the Judiciary Fund Bill 2016 and the Health Records and Information Managers Bill 2016.

The Judiciary Act makes provision for the regulation of the Judiciary Fund and connected purposes.

The Health records and Information Managers Act 2016 provides regulations for the training, registration and licensing of health records and information managers.

This will ensure regulation of the health records and information management practice, outlining the procedures for the establishment, powers and functions of the Health Records and Information Managers Board.

Present were the Speaker of the Senate Ekwee Ethuro, Attorney General Githu Muigai, Solicitor General Njee Muturi and Clerk to the Senate Justin Bundi.
