President Uhuru lunches at a Kenyatta Market kiosk

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Monday, September 19 made a surprise stop at Kenyatta Market, taking time off to enjoy lunch at one of the kiosks.

The President was without his usual security detail with the only company being Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko, Nominated MP Johnson Sakaja, Nairobi Women Representative Rachel Shebesh and Mathare MP Stephen Kariuki.

This is not the first time that the President has made an impromptu stop at a food joint.

During his tour of Machakos in May last year, President Kenyatta left many in his company mesmerized after he stopped at a local shop to enjoy a soda.
