Protests over Narok Leaders Arrest Enter Second Day

For the second time in four days, Narok town and its environs was reduced to a battle zone between anti-riot police and angry residents. Today’s riots were triggered by yesterday’s arrest of Narok senator Stephen Ole Ntutu and four mps who were accused of inciting Monday’s chaos that left one person dead. The protesters who were demanding the release of the leaders barricaded the main highway to and from Narok town. Sam Gituku is in Narok and witnessed the scenes
