Public, Mps Fault Proposed Anti Terror Bill

Stricter security proposals that were tabled in parliament yesterday have drawn sharp criticism with concerns that they will take away basic rights guaranteed by the constitution. The proposals contained in the Security Laws Amendment Bill 2014 came under the spotlight at a public forum where a section Of  Kenyans and leaders vowed to block any changes that would allow state agents to trample on the rights of citizens. The amendments have the blessings of President Uhuru Kenyatta who met security chiefs and MPs last week as his government seeks to stem a tide of terror attacks
