Shebesh’s husband in hospital after shooting

Police are investigating an incident where the husband of former Nairobi Woman Representative Rachel Shebesh allegedly shot himself on the foot.

Frank Ambundo Shebesh is said to have shot himself in the left thigh while servicing his gun at their home along Dennis Pritt Road, Kilimani area of Nairobi.

Mr. Shebesh, who is a licensed gun holder, was taken to Nairobi hospital with the bullet still lodged in his thigh.

When reached for comment, Nairobi Police boss Japheth Koome told Citizen Digital that he was unaware of the incident.

Sources revealed that Mr Shebesh had a Glock Pistol loaded with 12 bullets. The firearm has since been confiscated.

Many on social media did not seem to have a clue that the politician’s husband is the one who is called Shebesh with many thinking it was the legislator who had shot herself.
