Radio Citizen Ranked Among Top 20 In Africa

The rankings were made by Network Africa, an African Information Network.

Radio Citizen, which is broadcasted live from Nairobi, is one of the most tuned in stations in the country.

The radio is known to provide its listeners with the latest news, entertainment, sports finest African tunes, talk shows among others.

Its official broadcast language is Swahili, the country’s national language.

The success of the radio station has been attributed to the fact that its programs are broadcast in a language that is easily understood.

Among other stations that have been ranked among the top are; Peace FM of Ghana, Nile FM of Egypt, Sheger FM of Ethiopia, Breeze FM Zambia, Rhythm FM Nigeria, Clounds FM Tanzania, Radio Simba Uganda amongst others.
