The Orange Democratic Movement faces a political litmus test in Homa Bay County after dissenting politicians in the party maintained their opposition to party leader Raila Odinga’s public endorsement of Moses Kajwang as the party’s preferred candidate in the forthcoming by election. But even as the leaders including a group of mps from the county took a hard line stance on the matter, the party’s political machinery in the Nyanza region is already laying the groundwork for the late Otieno Kajwang’s brother to take over the Homa Bay senate seat.
