Raila ditches Kitutu Chache ODM candidate for Onyonka

National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga has ditched ODM candidate in the Kitutu Chache South by-election Samwel Omwando in support of Ford Kenya’s candidate Richard Onyonka.

Raila said that the decision to support Onyonka came after consultations with NASA principals.

“We came to an agreement that we support one strong candidate and we must also vote as one unit, NASA, so that we can defeat Jubilee,” said Raila

Wiper leader, Kalonzo Musyoka and ANC leader, Musalia Mudavadi, have also in the same spirit, abandoned their candidates in support of Onyonka.

The by- election, slated for Tuesday 14th November,2017, has attracted a number of candidates including Justus Mochoge (Amani National Congress), Andrew Maubi (Wiper) , Antony Kibagendi (Jubilee), Richard Onyonka (Ford Kenya), and ODM’s Samwel Omwando.
