Ignore Raila, he is insincere Murkomen

Jubilee leaders have faulted the unity deal between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Opposition leader Raila Odinga.

According to Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen and Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichungwa, Raila’s intentions are questionable.

They wondered why he sought audience with both the Head of State and former President Daniel arap Moi.

“Raila’s handshake is not sincere and Kenyans need to ignore it as it was in bad taste,” Murkomen said during a visit to Eldama Ravine, Koibatek on Saturday.

This comes a day after President Kenyatta also rubbished calls by Raila for a referendum.

On his part, Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi reiterated calls for Senator Gideon Moi to support Deputy President William Ruto in the 2022 elections.

He further urged former MP Musa Sirma to reconsider his position and also support the DP.

Mr. Ruto , who was in Eldama Ravine to launch government projects, however steered cleared of politics.

He instead issued a stern warning to those behind killings in Kapedo at the border of Baringo and Turkana counties.

The DP added that the Government will not condone those who break the law and directed Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet to arrest suspects behind the killings.

Police patrol at the border should also be enhanced, he said while addressing residents of Eldama Ravine.

Other MPs who attended included Mogotio MP Dr.Daniel Tuitoek amongst other leaders
