Raila leaves Bomas of Kenya after meeting IEBC officials

The National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential candidate, Raila Odinga, has left the National Tallying Centre at the Bomas of Kenya just moments before the expected arrival of President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Raila, who was flanked by his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka, co-principals Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula, held a meeting with the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) officials in a bid to have their grievances about Tuesday presidential poll addressed.

Speaking after the meeting, NASA chief agent Musalia Mudavadi claimed that IEBC has not received all forms 34A from the 40,883 polling stations.

The opposition NASA coalition now wants the IEBC to halt the planned announcement of the final presidential results until their grievances are resolved.

Mudavadi has now asked the IEBC not to rush and announce President Uhuru Kenyatta the winner of the presidential election until the provisional results are validated.

On his part Siaya Senator, James Orengo, asked the IEBC to allow agents of all presidential candidates to access the commission’s servers to enable them scrutinize the provisional results.
