Opposition chief Raila Odinga left the country on Sunday evening for a one-week visit of the United Kingdom.

Mr. Odinga is scheduled to deliver lectures at Cambridge University on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 and at Oxford University on Thursday, May 17, 2018 as a guest of Cambridge Union and Oxford Union respectively.

According to Odinga’s spokesman Dennis Onyango, the former premier is also scheduled to hold a meeting with UK Minister for Africa at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office on Wednesday.

He is also scheduled to meet Kenyans in the UK on Friday at the Greenwood Lecture Theatres of King’s College, London on Friday.

The opposition leader is accompanied by Nyando MP Jared Odoyo Okello.

He is expected back in the country over the weekend.
