Raila Odinga: We were to honour Ntimama Friday night

Opposition leader Raila Odinga has revealed that the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party was to honor the late William ole Ntimama in an exclusive dinner slated for Friday night (September 2).

The dinner, meant to celebrate ODM’s tenth anniversary, will be held at a city hotel.

Speaking to the press Friday afternoon at Ntimama’s Westlands home, Odinga said ODM was to honor Ntimama as one of the party’s political bulwarks who stood strong in supporting its policies.

“We will present Ntimama’s certificate to his family,” Odinga said.

Ntimama passed away Thursday night at his Melili Olchoro home in Narok North constituency.

Narok County Police Commander, Abdi Galgalo, in a press briefing at Narok Police Station, said the late William ole Ntimama passed on peacefully after sudden sickness.

ODM dinner will host loyal supporters who would share ideas on strategies to popularize the party.
