Repent on behalf of politicians  Oparanya to Kenyans

Kakamega Governor, Wycliffe Ambetsa Oparanya, has asked Kenyans to pray for peace and unity ahead of the 2017 General Election.

Speaking during a prayer session organised by the Kenya National Secretaries Association (KENASA) in Kakamega Town for county officials on Thursday, December 8, Oparanya urged Kenyans to repent on behalf of the political leaders.

He also called on political leaders to ask for forgiveness as look for votes.

The governor stressed the need for peaceful and non-tribal elections as he reminded the congregation of the 2007/08 Post Election Violence.

He additionally warned the politicians against using inciting language in their political campaigns.
