Reprieve For Girl Raising Funds For Mum’s Bill

Wellwishers have come to the aid of a teenage girl from Murang’a County who has been cycling to raise money for her late mother’s hospital bill. Officials at Kenyatta national hospital where the woman’s body is being detained due to a bill amounting to 1.5 million shillings announced they had offset 500 thousand shillings. The good gesture came after citizen tv highlighted the teenager’s plight but as Pheona Kenga reports, the girl is yet to raise the full amount.
