Research Workers, Students Demo In Naivasha
The demonstrators say that as a result of this, research work at the KALRO farm in Naivasha is about to collapse with tens of livestock dying due to lack of pastures.
The emotional demonstrators added that this has also adversely affected research activities in the area after 5,000 acres were grabbed.
The demonstrators matched to Naivasha sub-county officers where they handed over a petition.
According to Samuel Mukoa ,one of the worker from KALRO, the research and pasture land had been taken over by the grabbers thus affecting operations.
His sentiments were echoed by another worker Gordon Wandega who admitted that there was a major crisis in the KARLO farm.
