Residents Flee In Fresh Baringo Attacks
Two children and an elderly woman have also been reported missing with over 2000 people fleeing to the neighbouring Laikipia, Solai and Mogotio areas.
County leaders led by the Baringo county governor Benjamin Cheboi, his deputy Mathew Tuitoek, and area MP Grace Kipchoim also visited residents camping at Kamwenje police station.
Cheboi is now appealing to the national government to devolve the security docket to the counties to enable governors hire the Kenya police reservists (KPR) to help protect their various communities.
