Residents Urged To Remain Calm In Cop Arrest

The constable is in custody for allegedly shooting two youths in the area.

In a statement read on behalf by Ruiru MP Esther Gathogo, Kasarani MP John Njoroge and his Roysambu counterpart Waihenya Ndirangu, the residents were urged not to participate in the demonstrations.

The statement by the Legislatures urged the residents to remain calm and wait for the verdict.

Flanked by other elders from Githurai, the leaders said they were waiting for the court’s verdict on Wednesday.

They added that competent lawyers had been lined up to argue the case and that the residents should exercise patience.
