Resolve ballot papers tender row now presidential hopeful to IEBC

Presidential candidate, Joe Nyagah, has urged Jubilee’s Uhuru Kenyatta and his National Super Alliance counterpart, Raila Odinga, to stop their wars of words in the build up to the August polls.

Speaking at Kagio town in Kirinyaga County after meeting over 300 heads of various Churches, Nyagah said the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) should mediate the presidential hopefuls instead of them moving to court.

“IEBC should invite all presidential candidates for a meeting and address issues that will be raised by the different political players because judging by the current state of affairs it is possible to see a repeat of the 2007/2008 post-election violence,” Nyagah said.

Nyagah said that he is advocating for a peaceful election saying the ballot papers printing tender row should be resolved as soon as possible.

He said that this year’s election should be based on policies and agendas that are beneficial to Kenyans.
