Retired President Moi celebrates Moi Day at his Kabarak home

Retired President Daniel Arap Moi today marked Moi Day quietly at his Kabarak home with family and friends.

In a press release by his acting press secretary Alex Kiprotich, the former President said he has been overwhelmed by the messages of greetings and goodwill he has received from Kenyans of all walks of life.

Kiprotich said retired President Moi equally thanked Kenyans for their expression of love for him and the many fond memories, and said he prays for God’s blessings for Kenya and its people.
