Rival groups clash at Raila rally in Rarieda

Several youths have been arrested at Aram market in Rarieda after rival supporters of Siaya Governor Cornel Rasanga of ODM and opponent Nicholas Gumbo clashed at a NASA rally presided over by Raila Odinga.

Chaos started moments after Raila Odinga, speaking in Dholuo, urged the local residents to vote six-piece in the upcoming General Election. Soon after, angry rival supporters clashed using clubs before the police intervened and arrested several of them.

Several journalists who were filming the incident were saved by the security services after the angry youth descended on them.
